Un album che trabocca di frustrazione per lo stato delle cose, mentre tira senza pietà le corde del cuore, “A Model Life” è chiaramente il disco più onesto e vulnerabile dei Lonely Robot. Dall’opener “Recalibrating”, che riflette sulle conseguenze di una relazione interrotta, e “Digital God Machine” – un tributo sardonico ai guerrieri della tastiera, al pathos di “Rain Kings” e l’assurdamente commovente “Duty Of Care”, queste nuove canzoni forniscono una colonna sonora profondamente emotiva per un mondo inquieto e incerto.

But since 2015, John has been operating under name Lonely Robot: a solo project in all but name, it has enabled him to fully express his own musical vision, via some of the most vivid and fascinating music of his career to date.
